Vocations Summit 2024
The Vocations Summit for Lay Ecclesial Ministry took place from Wednesday, July 31st to Saturday, August 3rd, on the campus of Dominican University in Chicago, Illinois, in collaboration with the PASOS Network. The summit was a space for dialogue among U.S. born or U.S. reared young Latino/Latina Catholics discerning a call to ministry and leadership in Catholic settings, specifically by way of graduate theological education.
Through prayer, conversation, and convivencia, the Vocations Summit allowed current and future young Catholic Hispanic leaders the opportunity to hear from renowned leaders in theology and ministry about the past, present, and future of Hispanic ministry, meet peers from around the country, and connect personally with representatives from all 18 Haciendo Caminos partner institutions. Current Haciendo Caminos Fellows preached and shared their testimonios with attendees.
